Francis Holland School, Regents Park, is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence. But, did you know that the school also places immense value on its alumnae community? Recently, they took an inventive approach to engage their alumnae, encouraging them to populate their profiles. 

Maintaining and managing a clean database with accurate and up-to-date information is important for any school, as this allows them to keep in touch with former students, inform them about school news and events, and engage with them in meaningful ways. However, persuading alumni to regularly update their details can be a challenge. To address this challenge, FHS Regents Park provided a tangible incentive to their alumnae community, offering the chance for one lucky person to win a £50 Amazon voucher. All they had to do was update their details on the FHS Regent’s Park Alumni Network with information about their careers and industry experience!

To make this happen, the school used its all-in-one ToucanTech CRM to get in touch with members of the Alumnae Association, sending out several emails with details of the prize draw. As a result, over 60 alumnae logged into the FHS Regent's Park alumnae portal, with a number of them updating their records, and an additional 20 alumnae responding to the emails sent out with up-to-date details!

This initiative has been a great way to encourage Old Girls to log in to the alumnae community portal - and in doing so, search through the latest alumnae events, read about the latest school news, browse through the careers directory, and more! In addition to the prize draw, FHS Regent’s Park is also hosting an Alumnae Reunion in April. The event, specifically for former pupils who left the school between 2006 and 2021, will be a wonderful opportunity for younger alumnae to revisit the school, and reconnect with former peers and other members of the FHS Regent’s Park community.
