A Phenomenal Launch for Yarm School's Alumni Community Site (UK)

In a mere 10 days since its official launch, Yarm School's alumni community site has experienced remarkable growth. Over 200 alumni signed up in less than 24 hours, and now the community boasts an incredible 300+ members!

This incredible response speaks volumes about the enduring connections and strong ties that Yarm School alumni share. From recalling their school days to celebrating life's accomplishments, the site has transformed into a vibrant centre for the school's alumni community.

The Yarm School team successfully launched the site through a mass email to their community showcasing the incredible effort they have poured into creating a platform filled with compelling content. The site already features multiple exciting events, captivating photo galleries and videos, and informative news articles for users to connect with. This highlights the importance of having a fun and engaging website that gets users excited to sign up and connect.

Alumnae Year Group Challenge 2023 with Loreto Normanhurst (Australia)

Congratulations to Loreto Normanhurst (Sydney, Australia) who kicked off their third Alumnae Year Group Challenge in August 2023! Each alumna is encouraged to participate by donating to their fund, to determine the most philanthropic year group. 

This year, the goal is to raise an overall total of AUD $200,000, which will be utilised to fund a bursary over six years, benefiting a deserving student.

Using embedded panels and the donation progress bar, the Loreto Normanhurst team has proved how flexible the design can be when creating fundraising pages on a ToucanTech website! On the challenge page, alumnae can easily locate their respective year groups from a hyperlinked list and are taken directly to their donation panel.

A Bonkers Day for Bursaries at Notting Hill Prep! (UK)

Break dancing, flash mobs, crazy hair, break dancing registration, a disco brunch, bonkers lessons, and an NHP’s Got Talent staff lip-sync battle were a few ways Notting Hill Prep rallied and went Bonkers for Bursaries, a day dedicated to raising funds for the NHP Foundation Bursary Fund. With 48 means-tested bursaries awarded to date, the Foundation provides local children with fully-funded, means-tested, places to NHP and supports additional expenses including educational trips, enrichment, activities and incidentals. It was amazing to see staff and pupils go all out with their crazy hair and getting involved with the fun-filled day to raise money to expand their bursary programme.

Not only was the day filled with bonkers activities, but NHP also sold raffle tickets for £10 each through the Shop on their ToucanTech site. Raffling off incredible prizes including a one-year’s supply of Tony’s chocolate, a £400 voucher to The Ivy group, 2 magnums of Veuve Clicquot, a Nintendo Switch plus many other amazing packages, vouchers and experiences, there was a way for all pupils, staff and parents to get involved!
