ToucanTech co-founder Kate Jillings will present on the topic of fundraising from parents, sharing examples of successful campaigns and highlights from our recent IDPE Parent Power workshop. The evening will provide an opportunity to network with other schools in the Guildford area and discuss challenges and opportunities for school development and alumni officers.
ToucanTech is a cloud-based community database and website software used by schools and non-profits. We help our customers streamline their data and manage their communications and content to drive greater engagement.
We will be hosting the evening in a private room at the lovely Ivy Castle View restaurant in Guildford:

Starters
1. Laverstoke Park Farm buffalo mozzarella, Crispy artichokes, pear and truffle honey
2. Duck liver parfait, Caramelised hazelnuts, truffle, pear and ginger compote, toasted brioche
3. Roast pumpkin soup, Creamed pumpkin with truffle ricotta, pine nuts and crispy sage
Main courses:
1. Roasted half chicken, Off the bone with crispy skin, smoked aubergine purée, tomatoes, peppers and a Moroccan sauce
2. Salmon and smoked haddock fish cake, Crushed pea and herb sauce with a soft poached hen’s egg, baby watercress and sprouting broccoli
3. The Ivy vegetarian shepherd’s pie, Truffle-stuffed king oyster mushrooms with quinoa, chickpeas, roasted peppers, aubergine and a Moroccan tomato sauce
Desserts:
1. Crème brûlée, Classic set vanilla bean custard with a caramelised sugar crust
2. Rich chocolate mousse, Dark chocolate mousse with raspberries and a salted crunchy hazelnut caramel topping
3. Frozen mixed berries, Frozen mixed berries with yoghurt sorbet and warm white chocolate sauce
