Position: Sales Assistant

Summary: A graduate sales role at a tech scale-up

Start date: September/ October 2023

Location: London-based with hybrid/ flexible working and opportunity to travel

Starting salary: Competitive, with base salary + bonus

Summary of the role:

As a Sales Assistant you will support the EMEA regional head and other members of ToucanTech’s sales team across an interesting mix of tasks, from updating product info packs, to researching sales prospect lists, to adding new contacts to our sales database. You will have the opportunity to learn a broad range of skills - sales, administrative and organisational - as well as building technical knowledge about how a B2B SaaS product works. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Update sales info packs 
  • Update the sales database
  • Brief new data gathering tasks 
  • Research inbound leads 
  • Review warm lead lists 
  • Nudge prospects along
  • Plan sales events
  • Check product features 
  • Create demo site user-journeys 
  • Undertake market research

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Self-driven and hard-working
  • Highly organized, a team-player and always ‘happy to help’
  • Naturally interested in technology, online communities, databases and websites
  • Detail-oriented with clear written communication skills 
  • Confident to ask questions, learn fast, and make suggestions 
  • Degree-educated (from a top university), with excellent spoken and written English
  • Has some experience/ understanding of working in schools, membership associations or in the fields of fundraising, alumni or community relations
  • Good PowerPoint skills – must be able to create beautiful sales presentations/ materials or at least assemble all the key points/ ideas, which can be polished up by a designer
