Mentoring is one of the most valuable ways that you can have an impact on your community, empowering personal development and promoting resilience amongst your students. Not only this, but establishing a mentoring programme is also a great way for members of your community to give back.
However, setting up a mentoring programme can present its challenges; often, the most difficult part is getting the foundations right. Encouraging members of your community to sign up as mentors, as well as avoiding potential mismatches between mentors and mentees, can be tricky - and once a match has been made, it's in the hands of the mentee to organise meetings and work with the mentor to achieve their goals.
In this webinar, we will discuss how to establish your mentoring programme, as well as how mentors and mentees can get the most out of it.
